- The Department of Surgery is delighted to welcome Dr. Mohammed Alghoul to the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation effective August 13, 2012 where he joins the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Alghoul earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan Medical College in Amman, Jordan. He completed full residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in 2011. He recently finished a microsurgery fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin with emphasis on breast cancer reconstruction. Finally, he studied as an oculoplastic surgery fellow with Dr. Mark Codner in Atlanta. His long-term clinical interests are in breast reconstruction along with associated clinical research outcomes.
