Pediatric surgery training requirements for residents in the general surgery residency program are fulfilled at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. The comprehensive clinical services at Lurie Children’s, along with the talented faculty and innovative research programs of Feinberg, contribute to an exceptional training environment. Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago is also the primary training site for the following subspecialty fellowship programs:

• Pediatric Congenital Cardiac Surgery
• Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery
• Pediatric Surgical Critical Care
• Pediatric Transplant Surgery (non-accredited)

We firmly believe that productive research programs enrich clinical practice as well as enhance our educational goals. Our faculty members, including several designated surgeon-scientists, are engaged in a wide range of innovative research. We are especially dedicated to multidisciplinary research, and the proximity of the Ann & Robert H.
